Remodeling of a municipal facility in Clarksburg, West Virginia. Completed plans call for the remodel of a municipal facility.
This project involves flooring, patching, repair work, and painting. The West Virginia Purchasing Division is soliciting bids on behalf of the West Virginia Veterans Nursing Facility (Agency) located at 1 Freedoms Way, Clarksburg, WV 26301, to establish a contract for the following: The installation of LVT Flooring Tile, Patching, Repairing and Painting (up to 40) forty WVVNF Residential Rooms Flooring Patch, Repair, and Painting (Construction Services) Vendor shall furnish all materials and labor necessary to complete all Construction Services as well as any incidental work necessary to complete all Construction Services. Vendor shall comply with all paint codes, paint manufacturers, and flooring manufacturers as already being used by the Agency. The floor plan (Exhibit B, Floor Plan) is a detailed layout of the residential rooms in the Agency. All work will include (up to 40) forty of a total of (80) residential rooms. All items will be supplied by the vendor. Those items must be included in the Vendor's all-inclusive bid to complete the job and entered on Exhibit A, Pricing Page. Exhibit C, Project Plans, and Exhibit D, Authorized WVVNF Contacts The Administrator of the facility shall choose the paint color(s) for the various sections, and the vendor will advise the amounts necessary for each color to complete the job. Vendor shall adhere to Agency's purchasing rules and submit purchase requests in a timely manner. Agency shall have final approval rights on all orders. Areas to be LVT floored, patched, repaired and painted are highlighted on Exhibit B and do not include any hallways, lobbies, offices, stairwells, or restrooms. Ladders may be needed. One coat of paint should suffice for all areas. If, however, upon Final Inspection the Project Manager deems another coat necessary. Agency's staff will be responsible for the removal of pictures/furniture for the areas being floored, patched/repaired/painted/. There will be a Mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting. Bids from Vendors not attending the Pre-Bid Meeting and Site Visit shall not be considered for award. Vendors are asked to follow the guidelines below regarding the meeting. o No more than two (2) representatives of the interested bidder may attend the site visit; to limit group size. o Site visits will take place on the day of the Pre-Bid Meeting in small groups as directed by the Agency's Building & Grounds Manager. Vendors should plan on the possibility of being onsite for several hours, depending on the number of contractors who attend. o Visiting bidder representative(s) must be respectful of the Agency's Residents and limit disruptions to their daily routines or infringements on their personal space. o All visitors must be accompanied by an Agency representative and will not be allowed to wander through the facility Vendors are responsible for verifying all dimensions prior to bid submission. Measurements may be taken during the site visit on the day of the Pre-Bid Meeting. o The site visit is NOT an opportunity to ask or submit technical questions about the project. No verbal representations provided at a site visit are binding in any manner. Interested bidders should submit all technical questions per the instructions in the CFRQ.
