Demolition, site work and paving for a bridge / tunnel in Athens, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
Removal of existing road base and culverts. Installation of two new 72-inch diameter by 60-foot culverts (with couplings already purchased by the town) in proximity to each other on Nehrbass Road, 1/2-mile south of County Road A. Installation of 8-12 inch rip rap around the culverts. Reinstallation of road base and any new product required. Compaction of road base to required height. Installation of erosion control. Disposal of old culverts. Bid must be complete, including all removal costs, installation costs, product cover, rip rap, and erosion control. Proof of insurance certificate must be provided with the bid. The Town of Halsey reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids. Labeled, sealed bids must be received by 5 p.m. on Monday, May 11, 2026, at the specified address. No bids per hour will be considered.
