Site work for a water / sewer project in Utica, New York. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

The Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, and materials to investigate water service line materials (Property Owner and Mohawk Valley Water Authority (MVWA)) for approximately 600 services. This includes vacuum excavation, protection of existing utilities, backfill, compaction, site restoration (topsoil/seed, pavement, concrete, etc.), coordination, and service material documentation as shown and described in the Contract Documents. Proposals shall be submitted only on the forms provided and must include a five percent (5%) bid security in a specified form. Bids will only be received from those who obtain the Bid Documents from the Mohawk Valley Water Authority (MVWA) and are registered on the list of bidders. The MVWA reserves the right to waive any informality and reject any and all bids. The MVWA may also reject any bid if the resources, financial standing, or experience of the bidder justifies such rejection in view of the work to be performed. Bid packages must be sealed, marked, and addressed to the MVWA Engineering Department. Any inquiries regarding details in specifications must be directed to Kristofer Downes, Assistant Engineer, of the MVWA, 3rd Floor, City Hall, Utica, New York at (315) 792-0312 or kdownes@mvwa.us. Question Deadline 05/22/2026 Questions received less than five days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. A mailed Bid must be addressed to the location designated in the Advertisement.
