Remodeling of an educational facility in Utica, New York. Completed plans call for the remodel of a educational facility.
Furnishing all labor and materials and performing all work for the Alumni College Center Kitchen Equipment Replacement at Mohawk Valley Community College, 1101 Sherman Drive, Utica, New York 13501, under General Construction Contract No. H2662001. Bids must be submitted on the proposal forms provided in the Proposal Booklet and must not be detached. A deposit of 5% of the base bid is required, in the form of a bid bond or certified check payable to the COUNTY OF ONEIDA. Failure to submit the required bid bond or use the provided proposal forms will result in automatic disqualification. No Performance Bond or Labor and Material Payment Bond is required for this project. All packages containing bids must be sealed, marked, and addressed to the Oneida County Department of Purchasing and should indicate the bid reference number and type of work. The owner reserves the right to revise or amend the bidding documents prior to bid opening, and such changes will be announced by addenda. The owner also reserves the right to waive any irregularity and reject any or all bids. This contract is subject to Article 8 of the New York State Labor Law regarding prevailing wage rates. For public work projects of at least $250,000, all laborers, workers, and mechanics on site must have completed the OSHA 10-hour construction safety and health course. No bidder may withdraw their bid within forty-five days after the bid opening. The County of Oneida's Affirmative Action Policy applies to all bidders, regardless of race, color, national origin, age, sex, or handicap.
