The scope of work includes furnishing all labor, equipment, and materials required to restore lawn areas at multiple locations throughout the Mohawk Valley Water Authority system. This involves stripping 3 inches of existing backfill, placing and compacting 4 inches of topsoil, applying seed, and returning to reapply topsoil and seed as needed until a stand of grass is achieved, as described in the specifications. Proposals must be submitted only on the provided forms and must include a five percent bid security in the specified format. Bids will only be received from individuals who obtain the bid documents from the Mohawk Valley Water Authority and are registered as bidders. The authority reserves the right to waive any informality, reject any and all bids, and may reject any bid if the bidder's resources, financial standing, or experience are deemed insufficient for the work. The bidding documents may be revised or amended prior to bid opening. Bids must be sealed, marked, and addressed according to the stated instructions. Inquiries about the specifications must be submitted in writing to the designated contact and will not be answered if received within three business days of the bid date.
