The City of Wahoo is accepting bids for the removal of asbestos from the former City Hall located at 605 North Broadway, Wahoo, Nebraska. The building, constructed in 1959, previously housed various City functions and is currently vacant except for two basement rooms without asbestos which will remain occupied by stored items during the removal process. Contractors are required to submit evidence of their Nebraska asbestos removal license and proof of current insurance. A pre-bidding inspection meeting will be scheduled, and site visits can be requested. The bid packet includes the asbestos evaluation report, quoting information, contract, and submittal document. Removal of identified asbestos containing materials from the building as identified in the November 2021 Asbestos Survey completed by Bockmann, Inc. at 605 North Broadway, Wahoo, Nebraska. A copy of the aforementioned survey is incorporated herein by reference and acknowledged as having been received by Contractor.
