Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Waxahachie, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; for paving for a playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.

This project generally includes approximately 4,600 square yards of pavement construction for a parking lot and connecting street, and 300 linear feet of 18-inch to 36-inch RCP. The parking lot includes illumination and irrigation improvements. Bidders desiring further information or interpretation of the plans and specifications must make request for such information through the OpenGov portal indicated in the notice to bidder or by emailing Elizabeth.Quilici@waxahachie.com by 3:00 P.M. on May 12 th , 2026 This project provides for: 1) Demolition of existing gravel roadway and existing storm drain. 2) Installation of new storm sewer, water and sanitary sewer lines, including new water services. 3) Installation of 6-inch flexible base and 6-inch to 7-inch concrete roadway pavement. 4) Installation of 4-inch sidewalk pavement. 5) Installation of Street Light Foundations, secondary connection boxes and conduit. 6) Providing all traffic control and barricade devices in conformance with the Texas Department of Transportation's Manual of Uniform Traffic Control Devices. 7) Contractor shall prepare SWPPP and provide CSN per TCEQ requirements. The area disturbed is greater than one acre and less than five acres. Erosion control shall be in accordance with erosion control plan including silt fence and inlet protection installation, maintenance & removal. Silt fence and inlet protection shall meet city standards. All work shall be completed asshown on the plans and called for in these specifications, referenced specifications, and the City of Waxahachie standard construction details.
