Sealed bids are requested for concrete slabs for ballfield bleachers. Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope endorsed on the outside with the name, business address, and telephone number of the bidder, and indicate that a bid is enclosed. All bids must include a Non-Collusive Bidding Certification as required by Section 103-D of the General Municipal Law of New York. Bidders may not withdraw their bid for 45 calendar days after the opening of the bids unless they provide written notice of withdrawal. Requirements for bids: Concrete Slabs (Bleacher Pads): o Layout and install (2) reinforced concrete slabs to serve as foundations for bleacher/fan seating areas o Each slab to measure 16' x 10' x 5.5" thickness o Excavate to required subgrade depth and remove unsuitable material o Prepare sub-base with properly compacted aggregate to ensure structural stability and minimize settlement o Install formwork to precise dimensions and elevations o Place and finish concrete to a smooth, level surface, suitable for bleacher installation o Ensure proper pitch for drainage and long-term performance o Allow for proper curing to achieve design strength and durability
