Site work and paving for a road / highway in Mountain, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; road / highway; and road / highway.
The Town Board of Doty, Oconto County is seeking sealed bids for the following road projects: Bid 1: Pine Ridge Road, Archibald Lake Road to Town Line. Project includes pulverizing the existing pavement, adding a 2-inch gravel base, fine grading, watering and rolling, milling butt joints as needed, paving one course of 2-inch compacted asphalt pavement (18 feet wide and approximately 5,000 feet long), installing a 2-foot wide crushed aggregate base course shoulder, and sweeping the roadway upon completion. Bid 2: John Lane, from Pine Ridge to Termini. Work includes patching a gravel area (approximately 50 feet), wedge and overlay (18 feet wide, approximately 2,000 feet long), milling butt joints as needed, sweeping the existing roadway, applying a tack coat for bonding layers, paving two courses of 2-inch compacted hot mix asphalt (wedge layer and 1.5-inch top layer), installing a 2-foot wide crushed aggregate base course shoulder, and sweeping the roadway upon completion. Bid 3: John Lane, Pine Ridge Road to Fire No. 16430. Work includes patching a gravel area (approximately 50 feet), wedge and overlay (18 feet wide, approximately 350 feet long), milling butt joints as needed, sweeping the existing roadway, applying a tack coat for bonding layers, paving two courses of 2-inch compacted hot mix asphalt (wedge layer and 1.5-inch top layer), installing a 2-foot wide crushed aggregate base course shoulder, and sweeping the roadway upon completion. All work must be completed by September 30th, 2026. Proof of insurance must accompany all bids. Bids must be submitted to the Town Clerk at 14899 County Road T, Mountain, WI 54149, in sealed proposals prior to the board meeting on Thursday, May 28th, 2026, by noon. The Town Board retains the right to reject any and all bids or to accept the bid deemed most advantageous to the town.
