The Town Board of Doty, Oconto County is seeking sealed bids for road projects as follows: Bid 1: Pine Ridge Road, Archibald Lake Road to Town Line. The work includes pulverizing existing pavement for an 18' wide by approximately 5000' long section, adding a 2" gravel base, fine grading, watering and rolling, milling butt joints as needed, paving one course of 2" compacted asphalt pavement, installing a 2' wide crushed aggregate base course shoulder, and sweeping the roadway when complete. Bid 2: John Lane, Pine Ridge to Termini. Patch gravel area (approx. 50'), wedge and overlay an 18' wide by approximately 2000' section, mill butt joints as needed, sweep existing roadway, apply ply tack coat, pave two courses of 2" compacted hot mix asphalt (wedge layer and 1.5" top layer), install a 2' wide crushed aggregate base course shoulder, and sweep the roadway when completed. Bid 3: John Lane, Pine Ridge Road to Fire No. 16430. Patch gravel area (approx. 50'), wedge and overlay 18' wide by approximately 350', mill butt joints as needed, sweep existing roadway, apply tack coat, pave two courses of 2" compacted hot mix asphalt (wedge layer and 1.5" top layer), install a 2' wide crushed aggregate base course shoulder, and sweep roadway when completed. All work is to be completed by September 30th, 2026. Proof of insurance must accompany all bids. Sealed proposals must be submitted to the Town Clerk. The Town Board retains the right to reject any and all bids or to accept the bid deemed most advantageous to the town.
