Sealed bids are requested for corrosion maintenance of one steel beam beneath Bridge #8 in Underhill Center. Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope, addressed to the Town in care of the Selectboard, and marked with '2026 Underhill Bridge 8 Beam Maintenance Bid.' Bids are to be submitted on forms provided by the Town. Each bidder must submit a signed Hold Harmless Agreement and a Bidder’s Qualification Form. The successful bidder must provide satisfactory evidence of insurance prior to award. The Selectboard reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive any informalities or irregularities, accept any bid, call for rebids, negotiate with the bidder, and make an award as deemed to best serve the Town’s interest. The Selectboard may also investigate the financial responsibility of any bidder to determine their ability to provide service throughout the contract term.
