Renovation of a transportation facility in Brockton, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a transportation facility.
As of May 20, 2026 the project has been awarded. BAT is requesting bids from qualified firms to remove and replace roofing shingles at the BAT Center building to specifications, including all labor, materials, and hardware. The contractor will obtain all required permits from the City of Brockton and Commonwealth of Massachusetts and will provide properly qualified and licensed persons required to complete the work of this project. BAT is seeking bids for the removal and replacement of existing roofing components at its downtown Intermodal Transportation Center. Bid requirements and solicitation documents are available at the BAT Administrative Office or can be requested by email. Bidders must include all contact information with their requests. Disadvantaged Business Enterprises and Women Business Enterprises are encouraged to submit proposals, and proposals will not be discriminated against on various grounds including race, color, age, gender, and others. The contract is subject to the requirements of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and equal employment opportunity requirements. The project is contingent on the availability of funds from the U.S. Department of Transportation, Federal Transit Administration, and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, Department of Transportation.
