Renovation of an educational facility in Brockton, Massachusetts. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Brockton Public Schools (BPS) is seeking qualifications from experienced, DCAMM-certified design professionals to provide full architectural and engineering design services for the Plouffe Middle School Decarbonization and Energy Efficiency Project. Time Period for Completed Project Six months. Designer Fee Negotiated The project includes the design and engineering of: . Replacement of existing chillers with heat pump chillers; . Replacement of three rooftop units (RTUs) with heat pump RTUs; . Upgrades to the existing Automated Logic WebCTRL Building Management System (BMS); . Necessary mechanical, electrical, structural modifications; and . Design that supports future phases of full building electrification. All work must be performed in accordance with M.G.L. c. 7C, 44 through 58, applicable building codes, energy codes, and BPS standards. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time. "Requests for proposals for design services is underway."
