The work consists of dredging accumulated material and satisfactorily disposing of the dredged material into the Wax Lake Outlet channel beyond the minus 35-foot contour. No dike construction is anticipated. The project is intended to restore and maintain authorized channel depths and ensure continued functionality of the floodgate approach channels. Work will be performed under a firm-fixed-price contract with an estimated performance period of approximately 40 calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed.
