SummaryThe Calhoun Housing Authority ("CHA") is seeking proposals from qualified contractors to complete: (1) A parking lot expansion by excavating existing portions of our parking lot to form larger parking lot to accommodate more parking spaces for our community building. (2) Expand the rear concrete driveway at the CHA office to allow for more parking in the rear of our admin building for employees, and (3) Add sidewalk connectivity from the CHA office driveway to the community room parking lot. This project involves asphalt surfacing, concrete sidewalks and curbing, ADA ramps, and parking lot striping/ADA markings. The CHA is a public housing authority funded by the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development. The funding for this project is already approved, and funds are readily available for expenditure. Payment schedules are determined by the length of time required for this project, however, our general rule is to provide prompt payment upon completion of work for projects requiring 60 days or less to complete.
