Renovation of a municipal facility in Pleasant Hill, Missouri. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
The Owner Representative (OR) referred to below is Navigate Building Solutions, LLC. The Owner referred to below is City of Pleasant Hill, Missouri. The Contractor referred to below is the General Works Contractor. This bid package includes, but is not limited to, the following All work outlined by the project documents (plans and specifications) issued by Tremco. 1. Contractor is aware of the potential for Liquidated Damages. Contractor shall be responsible to maintain scheduled items for the Contractor's work as included in the project master schedule below. Contractor shall reference contract drafts provided in the bid documents, Contractor agrees to pay the Owner, or to deduct from the Contract Sum, not as a penalty, but as liquidated damages, the amounts listed in the contract drafts provided. 2. The draft contract has been modified from their original versions. Contractor shall read and agree to these documents as part of the bid process. 3. Contractor shall provide a payment and performance bond in the amount of one hundred (100%) percent of the bid amount within (10) days of executed contract agreement. 4. Notice to Proceed is anticipated to be issued on June 9, 2026. Contractors should be prepared to start work on shop drawings, etc. as required by each Contractors scope of work immediately upon notice to proceed and in accordance with the construction schedule established by the OR. May 13, 2026, 2:00 PM Deadline for Submitting Questions The purpose of this Request for Proposals is to obtain bids for the replacement of roof at Pleasant Hill City Hall. Performance and Payment Bond Bidders shall consider the City's requirements for payment and performance bonds when pricing the Work for purposes of bid submittal. The anticipated cost of the materials, labor, and associated costs of the Work is estimated to exceed $50,000. Consequently, the successful bidder shall furnish to the City a payment bond compliant with all requirements of Section 107.170 of the Revised Statutes of Missouri as amended, with good and sufficient sureties to cover the cost for payment of the following: o Any and all materials incorporated, consumed, or used in connection with the construction of the Work; and All insurance premiums, both for compensation, and for all other kinds of insurance, for the Work; and o For all labor performed in the Work, whether by subcontractors or otherwise, including payment of prevailing wage requirements of the State of Missouri. Additionally, the successful bidder shall provide the City a performance bond (guaranteeing that the contract for the Work will be completed according to its terms, including price and time) with good and sufficient sureties to cover the 100% of the cost of the entire construction contract, including, if authorized increases to cover change orders to such contract. The City reserves the right to accept or reject any or all submittals, to waive any technicalities in the submission process, to award any bid or portion of a bid which is deemed to be the most advantageous to the City of Pleasant Hill, and to make any investigations as are deemed necessary to determine the ability of a bidder to perform the Work. **All questions MUST be submitted by email to the Architect. Questions will be accepted until 12:00 pm, May 13, 2026. Questions will be answered in the form of an Addendum. Questions via phone or voicemail MAY NOT BE ANSWERED.
