Renovation of a clubhouse / community center in Toledo, Ohio. Completed plans call for the renovation of a clubhouse / community center.
The City of Toledo Department of Public Services and Facility Operations is soliciting bids to remove and replace existing doors at the Believe Center. Bids must be submitted electronically through the City of Toledo's PlanetBids portal. Bid prices shall be to two or four decimal places, and only one price per line item will be accepted. To be awarded a contract, the following documents must be submitted with each bid: Construction Project Paperwork, Line Items, Bid Guaranty (bid bond or certified check/cashier's check on a solvent bank), Signed Contract by the Vendor, and Tax Exemption Certificate. Bid Guaranty must be scanned and uploaded with the bid. Checks must also be received by the Division of Purchases and Supplies by the due date and time; no company or personal checks will be accepted. Checks should be made payable to "City of Toledo." If using a bid bond, scan and upload with bid, but the original does not need to be received. Question Deadline 05/14/2026 at 4:00 PM ET All questions regarding the plans and specifications must be in writing submitted through the website Q&A tab Online. City Paperwork, including Vendor Registration Form and Business Tax Registration Form (if new to doing business with the city), and notarized Child Support Affidavit, only need to be submitted once for all contracts. Annual Paperwork, such as W-9, Certificate of Insurance (naming the City as additionally insured), Worker's Compensation Certificate, EEO Compliance, Debarment Certification, and Living Wage Affidavit must be maintained and updated as necessary. Other requirements: Prevailing wages, certified payrolls submitted two weeks after start and weekly thereafter, and a pre-construction meeting with the Contract Compliance office prior to work commencing. Payment Bond and Performance Bond are required upon awarding the contract. Local preference policies apply.
