Site work and new construction of an educational facility in Livonia, Louisiana. Completed plans call for the construction of a 5,876-square-foot, one-story above grade educational facility.

The scope of work includes the construction of a new Welding Lab Building, approximately 5,876 square feet, single story, using pre-engineered metal building construction. The building consists of a classroom space with single occupant restrooms, a Welding Lab area separated by a fire wall containing lockers, welding booths, supplies storage, cutting tables, worktables, and a teacher's office, and a covered exterior work area. Alternate work includes: Alternate No. 1 for a new 300KW 480/277V Diesel Generator; and Alternate No. 2 for a new pre-engineered aluminum canopy and new concrete walkway, approximately 1,250 square feet with two trench drains. Bids must be submitted on forms provided, in sealed envelopes marked with the project name, Contractor's name as it appears on the license, and Louisiana Contractor's license number. Bid security equal to five percent of the sum of the base and all alternates is required and must be in the form of a certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond from an approved surety. Successful bidders must provide a Performance and Payment Bond for 100% of the contract amount from an approved surety. Bids are accepted only from contractors licensed for Building Construction and cannot be withdrawn for forty-five days after receipt, except as allowed by law. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids for just cause. Complete bidding documents are available electronically from Mougeot Architecture, LLC.
