PITTSBURGH WATER's drinking water system consists of five reservoirs, two water treatment plants, 11 pump stations, 11 tanks, and approximately 1,000 miles of water lines. In addition, PITTSBURGH WATER's sewer system is comprised of four booster pumping stations and approximately 1,200 miles of sewer lines. PITTSBURGH WATER has 400+ employees across six locations with the main headquarters located at 1200 Penn Ave., Pittsburgh, PA, 15222. Pittsburgh Water plans to enter into a construction contract to replace small diameter water mains and service lines and is requesting proposals for Construction Management/Construction Inspection (CM/CI) Services related to this work. PENNVEST funding requirements will apply. This project is federally funded by EPA financial assistance dollars and requires all contractors to demonstrate compliance with federal Executive Orders 11625, 12138, and 12432 and EPA Regulations at 40 CFR Part 33. Contractors must document solicitation of Disadvantage Business Enterprises (DBEs) and demonstrate the Six Good Faith Efforts to identify and solicit DBE firms as potential sources for project construction, equipment, services, and supplies by including state qualified small businesses, and minority and women owned business enterprises in the bidding process.
