The project consists of replacement of approximately 1350 linear feet of 4-inch, 1650 linear feet of 6-inch, and installation of 8-inch ductile iron piping along Moyhend Street, Logan Street, Orchard Street, and Lincoln Avenue. The waterline replacements will include replacement of fire hydrants, service connections, valves, trench restoration, pavement restoration, and associated appurtenances. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check, bank money order, or a bid bond in an amount not less than 10 percent of the bid total, payable to the owner in accordance with the instructions to bidders. Bidders are subject to all applicable provisions of the Pennsylvania wage laws, and bids should be prepared accordingly. The successful bidder will be required to provide a performance bond in the amount of 100% of the successful bid amount. All contractors are required to ensure non-discrimination and compliance with applicable federal and state regulations. Contractors and subcontractors must furnish records to ascertain compliance with the Nondiscrimination Clause. The owner reserves the right, at its option, to waive any defects, errors, or omissions in any or all bids; and to reject any or all bids.
