Site work for a water / sewer project in Wilmington, North Carolina. Conceptual plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Cape Fear Public Utility Authority intends to procure a qualified Design-Builder to provide design and construction services for the installation of water main extensions into existing neighborhoods in the areas of Blossom Street, Chadwick Acres, and Cape Landing. This installation will include the public and private-side water service connections. The project is a continuation of efforts to provide public drinking water service connections and main extensions to unserved homes and communities in New Hanover County impacted by PFAS. The project will include design, obtaining of permits, creation of engineering reports (preparation, submission, and Division of Water Infrastructure approval), public outreach assistance, construction phase engineering services, and ultimately the construction of water main extensions into these existing neighborhoods. Each phase of the project, including pricing and invoicing for each of the three areas, shall be kept separate. Bidders are instructed to send sealed Statements of Qualifications to the specified address by the stated deadline. CFPUA will address RFQ-related questions until a specified deadline, and all changes to the RFQ will be communicated as addenda to registered RFQ holders. CFPUA reserves rights regarding the acceptance, rejection, and evaluation of submissions.
