Description

Site work for a water / sewer project in Wilmington, North Carolina. Conceptual plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

Cape Fear Public Utility Authority intends to procure a qualified Design-Builder to provide design and construction services for the installation of water main extensions into existing neighborhoods in the areas of Blossom Street, Chadwick Acres, and Cape Landing. The installation will include public and private-side water service connections. The project will include design, obtaining permits, creating engineering reports (preparation, submission, and approval), public outreach assistance, construction phase engineering services, and the construction of water main extensions into neighborhoods impacted by PFAS. Each phase of the project, including pricing and invoicing for each benefited area, shall be kept separate. The estimated project budgets are $2,259,003 for Blossom Street, $2,547,784 for Chadwick Acres, and $2,386,924 for Cape Landing. Instructions specify that sealed Statements of Qualifications must be received by the Finance Department. Questions about the RFQ will only be addressed before a specified deadline. CFPUA reserves the right to reject any or all submissions, waive any informality or irregularity, and be the sole judge of the merits of the respective submissions. Any changes will be provided in the form of an addendum to all registered holders.
