Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Wilmington, North Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
This project consists of pedestrian improvements along US 74/76 (Eastwood Road) from Rogersville Road to Cavalier Drive. The improvements include, but are not limited to grading, multi-use paths, curb and gutter, landscaped medians, drainage, signal work, and asphalt paving. In accordance with the City of Wilmington's Minority/Disadvantaged Business Policy, the bidder shall make good faith efforts, as defined by the Bid Specifications, to subcontract 14% of the dollar value of the prime contract to businesses which are at least 51% owned and controlled by minority, socially, and/or economically disadvantaged individuals (MBE/DBE's). A complete copy of the City of Wilmington's MBE/WBE policy is available for inspection at the Purchasing Manager's Office. The City of Wilmington Reserves the Right to Reject any and all Bids.
