Description

Site work and paving for a road / highway in Alliance, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.

Sealed bids are invited for the Lexington Township 2026 Paving/Roadway Project. Bid envelopes should be marked accordingly. Specifications and bid forms may be obtained from the Lexington Township Office. Each bid must include a certificate for corporations not chartered in Ohio authorizing them to do business in Ohio, as well as a bid guaranty in the form of a certified check, cashier's check, letter of credit equal to 10% of the bid, or a bid guaranty bond for the full amount of the bid. All bids must be in accordance with Ohio Revised Code and on forms provided with the specifications. Proposals must be delivered to the office of the Lexington Township Trustees before the specified deadline. Work is governed by the prevailing wage rates of the Ohio Department of Industrial Relations, must comply with ODOT Specifications, and may not begin until authorized in writing by the Board of Trustees. Completion is required within thirty (30) calendar days of receiving the written Notice To Proceed. Bidders must ensure non-discrimination in employment. The Trustees reserve the right to reject any or all bids, omit or decrease any item, waive informalities, and accept any bid or combination of bids deemed most favorable to the Township. The contract will be awarded to the lowest and best bid based on criteria outlined in the specifications, and not necessarily the lowest bid. No single factor will control the award decision, and the Board reserves full discretion.
