Renovation of a multi-residential development in Sleepy Eye, Minnesota. Completed plans call for the renovation of a multi-residential development.
Bids are requested for the furnishing of all labor, materials, tools, equipment, and services necessary for the Plumbing, Windows and Doors Replacement Project at Ross Park Apartments, including all associated work required to install or repair the same as specified in the bid documents. Bids will be received by the Housing & Redevelopment Authority for a single prime contract, which will be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder, pending available funding. Bidders must submit a certified check or bank draft, or a bid bond executed by the bidder and an acceptable surety, amounting to five percent (5%) of the total bid. No less than the minimum salaries and wages set forth in the contract documents must be paid, including compliance with both Federal and State prevailing wage laws. Contractors must take affirmative action to prevent discrimination in hiring and employment practices. HUD Section 3 compliance and documentation are required. Successful bidders must provide performance and payment bonds for the full contract amount. The Housing & Redevelopment Authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive informalities, and award the contract to the lowest responsible bidder.
