The Town of Brookline is seeking qualified design firms to provide comprehensive architectural and engineering services for the replacement of Fire Station 5. The project consists of the demolition and/or replacement of the existing facility and the design and construction of a new, modern fire station that meets the operational needs of the Brookline Fire Department and all applicable code and NFPA requirements. The selected designer will provide full design services, including schematic design, design development, construction documents, bidding support, and construction administration. The scope of services also includes planning, site evaluation, and engineering services associated with temporary accommodations for displaced Fire Department operations during construction. A feasibility study has been completed and will be made available to all respondents. The Town of Brookline reserves the right to accept or reject any or all submissions and to waive any informalities in the best interest of the Town. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time. "Requests for proposals for design services is underway." The current construction budget is $20 million.
