Sealed bids are invited for the construction of the Dean and Pocono Roads Sewer Extension, which includes the construction of a sanitary sewer extension by one of two alternatives: gravity sewers with a pump station, or a low-pressure system with grinder pumps for each property. The work is subject to the requirements of the State of Connecticut, Department of Environmental Protection, including applicable Minority Business Enterprise and Women's Business Enterprise policies. Wage rates must comply with the State of Connecticut Labor Department's "Prevailing Wage Rates" and the Federal Davis-Bacon Act. Bidders and subcontractors must ensure equal opportunity employment as specified in the Governor's Executive Orders 3 and 17.
