Renovation of a stadium in Vestavia Hills, Alabama. Completed plans call for the renovation of a stadium.
Sealed proposals, in duplicate, from Qualified General Contractors will be received for bathroom improvements for the Vestavia Hills High School Softball Stadium. Bids must be presented at the designated time and place; mailed bids not presented at the bid opening will be considered non-responsive. A cashier's check or bid bond payable to the Vestavia Hills City Board of Education in an amount not less than five percent of the proposal, up to $10,000, must accompany each bid. Performance and Payment Bonds and evidence of insurance will be required at contract signing. Prior to obtaining plans and specifications, contractors must provide evidence of proper licensing for this project. Bidders must use proposal forms provided by the Architect and must display their General Contractor's License Number on the outside of the sealed envelope. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive technical errors if deemed in the Owner's best interest.
