This project involves the removal and replacement of an existing box beam bridge utilizing a new pre-cast concrete three sided flat-topped box culvert. This project also includes the installation of a new eight inch water via conventional boring operations under the railroad tracks north of the bridge, asphalt pavement replacement, installation of new concrete curb and sidewalk, and all necessary restoration work. This project consists of the complete removal and replacement of the existing pre-cast box beam bridge located just north of the intersection of Prospect Street and W. Smith Road with a new pre-cast reinforced three-sided flat-topped culvert. This project will also include the removal and replacement of existing storm sewer and structures, installation of new 8" water main, installation of new 8" water main via a bore under the Wheeling and Lake Erie railroad tracks, installation of new concrete curb, installation of new concrete sidewalk, installation of full depth asphalt pavement, milling and the resurfacing of the existing asphalt pavement, installation of new traffic control signs, and placing landscaping and seeding.
