Renovation of a water / sewer project in Richmond, British Columbia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
The purpose is to invite proposals for construction and installation services for the Standby Power System Facility for the Iona Island Wastewater Treatment Plant Projects. The general scope of work includes: installation of underground conduits and cable tray; placement and connection of generators, transformers, and E-houses; installation of power, instrumentation and control cables; site acceptance testing, commissioning, and training for operations and maintenance staff; shutdown and cutover activities. Mechanical work involves installation of oil-water separator system, diesel fuel system, and stormwater dewatering system. Civil and structural work includes trenching, construction of concrete equipment pads. The contractor will also be responsible for offloading, installation, and connection of pre-purchased major equipment such as standby diesel generators, E-Houses, transformers, load banks, and neutral grounding resistors, as well as supplying ancillary equipment and materials including circuit breaker sections, fuel tanks and piping, storm water pumping system, oil water separator, mechanical items, electrical cables, lighting, grounding, structural items, grading, backfill, and other civil items.
