The Complexity Factor for this project is 0. The Consultant who is selected for this project and all Subconsultants the Prime Consultant will be using are scheduled to attend an initial meeting on July 23, 2026, at 10:00 AM at the Region Two/District Two Office in Dixon. Phase III engineering services are required to provide various materials inspection (Office/Field/Laboratory) for various projects in District Two. The Consultant will provide support for various IDOT materials functionality, technical office work, inspection, and field/lab processes throughout District Two. The position(s) will report directly to District Two headquarters located in Dixon, IL. each day to perform tasks and/or receive assignments, unless assignments are given in advance which require reporting to an alternate location. This work may involve working directly with contractors, producers, suppliers, local agencies and/or other consultants. Duration of work orders will be dependent upon workload and department needs, and duration could vary for assigned staff from seasonal to full-time. The Prime firm must be prequalified in the following categories to be considered for this project: Special Services (Quality Assurance HMA & Aggregate) Special Services (Quality Assurance PCC & Aggregate) Statements of Interest, including resumes of only the key people noted above, must be submitted electronically to the Central Bureau of Design and Environment through the Engineering Prequalification and Agreement System (EPAS). The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
