The participation goal percentages on the amount of the contract awarded by CDB for this project are 20% MBE, 5% WBE, 2% VBE/PBE. Work under this project requires demolition and replacement of three existing well buildings, including lead-based paint, asbestos-containing materials, and electrical and HVAC systems; refurbishment of three wells; refurbishment of above-ground storage tank; and replacement of SCADA system. Upgrade Water Treatment and Replace SCADA System at Dixon Correctional Center in Lee County. The trade involved is Plumbing - Remodel & Rehabilitation. The estimated cost is less than $7,000,000. The delivery method is Single-Prime (Plumbing) Project Delivery. MBE/WBE subcontracting and supplier goals apply. A Project Labor Agreement (PLA) is applicable to this project. Bidders are strongly encouraged to attend the prebid meeting. For access to the site, all contractors must meet at the sallyport entrance off N Brinton Ave. Plans are available from Stanley Consultants with a plan deposit required.
