Remodeling and renovation of a playground / park / athletic field in Fort Scott, Kansas. Completed plans call for the remodel of a playground / park / athletic field; and for the renovation of a playground / park / athletic field.

Replacement of the alarm system and electrical panel, along with construction work to revise existing men's and women's restroom stalls for improved efficiency and Architectural Barriers Act compliance. The work includes remodeling approximately 550 square feet of existing restrooms to provide a minimum of one ABA-compliant toilet compartment and two standard toilet compartments for each restroom, along with three lavatories per restroom. The scope also includes removal and replacement of four air handlers/furnaces and four heat pumps/condensing units, including associated line sets and electrical components. All labor, materials, tools, and equipment necessary to complete the work shall be provided. The mechanical equipment is located in the Infantry Barracks (HS-6). PROJECT MAGNITUDE: Between $250,000 and $500,000 The Contractor shall be required to (a) commence work under this contract within 10 calendar days after the date the Contractor receives the notice to proceed, (b) prosecute the work diligently, and (c) complete the entire work ready for use not later than 120 calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed. The time stated for completion shall include final cleanup of the premises.
