The program targets individuals with serious mental illness and/or substance use disorder who are linked to County Behavioral Health Services. The scope includes rapidly establishing and operating interim shelter programs, providing immediate shelter, supporting housing stabilization, facilitating engagement in ongoing treatment, and assisting transition to permanent housing. Applicants must be capable of delivering low-barrier, service-connected housing placements in alignment with State CalAIM Community Supports and Transitional Rent requirements.
