The work consists of sustaining airfield markings and removing rubber buildup from the asphalt-covered Assault Runway at Youngstown Air Reserve Station. The contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, tools, transportation, and materials required to remove a minimum of 95 percent of rubber buildup from 100 percent of the designated runway areas. Rubber removal shall be performed without damage to pavement surfaces, joints, joint and crack seals, or other government property. Any runway or pavement markings damaged or destroyed during rubber removal operations shall be restored and repainted. The scope also includes repainting all LZ markings, controlled apron markings, and non-controlled apron markings in accordance with the project specifications and plans dated 07 March 2026.
