Site work for a pipeline in Quitman, Mississippi. Completed plans call for site work for a pipeline.
The work consists essentially of the construction of a 6" Steel High Pressure Gas Main by horizontal directional boring and hot tap connections to an existing 6" Steel High Pressure Gas Main. The contractor is responsible for performing all work and furnishing all plant, labor, equipment, and materials required by the specifications and drawings referenced. Bidders are required to submit proposals accompanied by a cashier's check, certified check, or a bidder's bond in the amount of 5% of the total bid. The successful bidder must provide a performance bond and a payment bond, each equal to 100% of the contract amount. Bidders may not withdraw their proposals for 90 days after submission. Proposals and contract documents must be submitted in a sealed envelope and deposited at the specified office location. Electronic bid submission requirements are available by contacting the Engineer of Record. Disadvantaged and women's business enterprises will be given full opportunity to submit bids and will not be discriminated against based on race, color, sex, age, disability, religion, or national origin.
