Site work for a mixed-use development in Quitman, Mississippi. Completed plans call for site work for a transportation facility; and transportation facility.
Principal items of work include installation of trenching for direct buried cable (9,000 L.F.), underground cable #8 AWG 5KV L-824C (8,000 L.F.), #6 AWG solid bare counterpoise installed in trench (9,370 L.F.), underground cable #6 AWG 600V XHHW-2 (5,700 L.F.), underground cable #8 AWG 600V XHHW-2 (2,100 L.F.), L-861 stake mounted runway edge lights (34 E.A.), L-861 stake mounted runway threshold lights (12 E.A.), L-861 stake mounted taxiway edge lights (20 E.A.), 1-2" directional bore (370 L.F.), L-881 (L) PAPI 2-Box LED on new foundation (1 L.F.), construction of metal housing and foundation (1 L.S.), and installation of equipment in metal housing (1 L.S.). Contract time is 120 working days. The award will be made to the lowest and best bid based on bid offer, technical qualifications, and professional reputation. Certified check or bid bond for five percent (5%) of the total bid is required. Bids must be physically delivered and will not be considered if qualified by additional conditions. All items must be constructed to FAA standards. Minority business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity and not discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
