The San Antonio Water System is seeking professional engineering services for the 2026 Recycled Water System Master Plan Project. The selected consultant will be responsible for preparing a Recycled Water Master Plan that comprehensively reviews and evaluates the existing recycled water infrastructure and establishes an overall vision for a 30-year planning period (2027-2057). The consultant will also provide options for capital improvement projects involving rehabilitation, upgrades, and expansion of the recycled water facilities and associated infrastructure over the planning period. The evaluation must include a sensitivity analysis considering the current regulatory environment, existing flows, projected flows, and other permitting or operational needs. Recommendations should address phasing, provide an engineer's opinion of probable construction costs, and include preliminary implementation schedules. Statements of qualifications are being accepted from interested professional engineering firms.
