Questions due: Monday April 27, 2026 The Caledonia County Natural Resources Conservation District is seeking competitive bids to remove a concrete weir and restore the Houghton Brook by an excavation contractor with experience in dam removal, in-river work, or work of a similar nature. The concrete weir spans the width of Houghton Brook in St. Johnsbury, VT, adjacent to Goss Hollow Rd. Work tasks will generally involve removal and disposal of concrete weir; removal and disposal of a concrete building, removal of trees; grading in restoration area and fill site, river channel formation; stream channel restoration using onsite bed materials and site restoration.
