Question Deadline 06/08/2026 at 4:00 PM ET All questions related to the specific property, project details, or proposal content must be submitted electronically. This Master RFP is not site specific. It is intended for general use across all redevelopment solicitations issued by RACA. Individual redevelopment opportunities will be issued through Property Specific Addenda. The Redevelopment Authority of the City of Allentown (RACA) will host a Technical Assistance session on Thursday, June 4th, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM to support applicants who need guidance completing the RFP or understanding submission requirements. This session will focus on the application process and will not address property or project specific proposals. To register for the Technical Assistance session, please email Kevin McNulty Kevin.mcnulty@allentownpa.gov no later than Wednesday, June 3rd, 2026. The proposer shall submit a design narrative describing the project concept, building type(s), size, materials, and amenities, and demonstrating consistency with applicable zoning and permitted Building Types. The existing structure is a General Building; proposals involving demolition, new construction, or adaptive reuse must identify the proposed Building Type and comply with applicable zoning and adaptive reuse standards, with any requested zoning relief clearly noted. Submissions shall include a rendering and demonstrate compatibility with the surrounding neighborhood, and high-quality and durable materials. Proposals that reuse the existing building will be scored more favorably.
