Lac La Biche County is inviting responses to a Request for Proposal for Engineering Consulting Services for the Holowachuk Estates and Sentinel Industrial Park Drainage Assessment Project. The purpose of the project is to identify existing drainage deficiencies, determine likely contributing causes, and develop practical engineering recommendations to reduce erosion, washouts, sedimentation, ponding, and future drainage-related risks. A comprehensive, solution-focused approach is expected, considering the full drainage system in each study area, including grading, overland flow, ditches, culverts, stormwater infrastructure, erosion protection, sediment transport, and downstream receiving conditions. The work includes drainage assessment, preliminary design, and detailed design of selected improvements, including tender-ready drawings, specifications, and cost estimates, with the intent to advance improvements to a construction-ready stage.
