Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Exeter, New Hampshire. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; road / highway; and sidewalk / parking lot.
Separate sealed bids are requested for the construction of new sewer, drainage, water, curbing, sidewalk reconstruction, and roadway reconstruction on School Street, Union Street, Garfield Street, and Kossuth Street in Exeter, NH. The entire project work must be substantially completed within 300 calendar days from the start date provided in the Notice to Proceed, with an additional 30 calendar days if Bid Alternate A is selected. Liquidated damages will be assessed at $1,500 for each day of delay beyond the established substantial and final completion dates. Bids must be accompanied by a bid security equal to 5% of the total bid price. The successful bidder must furnish 100% performance and payment bonds and execute the contract agreement within 10 days of bid acceptance. Funding is expected through a loan from the NH Clean Water State Revolving Fund and a State Aid Grant from the NH Department of Environmental Services (SAG).
