This project consists of but is not limited to the construction of an unenclosed, unheated, and unplumbed steel, wood, and concrete pavilion with a floor area of approximately 1,900 SF, located in the immediate vicinity of and associated with the existing war memorial on Camp Johnson. Contractors are invited to bid on the construction of the Fallen Heroes Memorial Pavilion project at Camp Johnson in Colchester, Vermont, on the grounds of the Camp Johnson complex off Rt. 15, with the nominal address of 90-128 Academy Ln Colchester VT. There will be a mandatory pre-bid meeting at the site at the specified location, and all visitors must surrender valid identification during their stay. Subcontractors are encouraged to attend. Notification to the Project Manager the day before the meeting is required. A criminal background check is required for all personnel if not currently on file and current within one year. Upon award, all employees expected to work on this project must submit the Base Access Registration/Record Check Form in PDF format by email to the Project Manager. Contractors and associated subcontractor employees must comply with adjudication standards and procedures using the National Crime Information Center Interstate Identification (NCIC-III) and Terrorist Screening Database (TSDB), and applicable installation, facility, and area commander security policies and procedures.
