Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Amherst, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and sidewalk / parking lot.
The project consists of asphalt roadway and parking lot resurfacing, full depth pavement repairs, casting adjustments, service adjustments, drainage improvements, concrete repairs, driveway repairs, signage, pavement markings, maintenance of traffic, and lawn restoration. Bidders are required to furnish a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code, issued by a Surety Company licensed in Ohio. Each proposal must contain the full name of all parties submitting the proposal and all persons interested, as well as evidence of experiences on projects of similar size and complexity. Bids must be submitted on the Bid Form found in the Contract Documents. The City will award the contract based on the lowest and best bid, and reserves the right to reject any and all bids or waive any informalities or irregularities. Prevailing Wage Rates for Lorain County and the City of Amherst as determined by the Ohio Department of Commerce apply. Only those who purchase the Bidding Documents from the Owner will be considered eligible bidders.
