Site work for a water / sewer project in San Francisco, California. Conceptual plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Maintenance dredging of the Noyo Harbor Channel and repair of the Noyo Harbor North Jetty. The channel will be dredged to a depth of minus 10 feet, including a 1-foot paid over-depth and a 1-foot unpaid over-depth. Armor stone encountered within the channel bottom will be removed and transported to a staging area near the North Jetty. Dredged material will be transported and disposed of at a designated nearshore disposal site located approximately six miles north of the Noyo Harbor Channel. Jetty repair work includes removal of approximately 500 tons of existing stone from the channel-side slope, repair of structural voids beneath the main concrete jetty structure, and placement of new high-density stone to restore and stabilize the jetty. Up to 6,000 tons of new stone with a minimum density of 180 pounds per cubic foot will be placed to rebuild damaged areas and address displacement of armor stones and undermining caused by wave action. The work also includes repair of the jetty concrete walkway using repurposed stone recovered during construction activities. All dredging and jetty repair activities must be performed using appropriately sized marine and land-based equipment capable of completing the work within the designated environmental work window from July 1, 2027 through October 15, 2027, while maintaining navigational safety and protecting the integrity of the existing harbor and jetty structures. Estimated cost range is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000. The Method of Contractor Selection has not been determined at this Time. *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
