Renovation of an educational facility in South Salt Lake, Utah. Completed plans call for the renovation of a five-story above grade educational facility.
The purpose is to seek bids from responsive and responsible licensed General Electrical Contractors (E200) to install a new Fire Alarm and Carbon Monoxide Detection System at Churchill Jr High School, according to the attached Project Manual, specifications, and drawings. Attendance at the pre-bid meeting is required. The project is anticipated to result in a single award to the lowest cost responsive and responsible vendor. Location Granite Technical Institute 5-Story Building 2500 South State Street, Salt Lake City, Utah 84115 Granite Technical Institute Annex Building 2567 South Main Street, Salt Lake City, Utah 84115 o Furnish all labor, materials, and equipment to install new carbon monoxide detection devices and notification strobes, and other appurtenances as indicated in the Drawings and Specifications required for a complete system installation. o Furnish all labor, materials, and equipment to install all conduit, accessories, and other appurtenances for a complete installation. o Contractor shall be responsible for obtaining approval from the State Fire Marshal's Office (SFMO) Fire Alarm Plan Review. (SFMO Fire Alarm Submittal Form 2023D-R.) Contractor shall list GSD to be invoiced directly for the review. o Contractor shall be responsible for all testing and commissioning of the system.
