Under this project, the Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, and materials necessary to construct a two million-gallon concrete pre-stressed ground storage tank with deep foundational supports (aggregate columns), mixing system, yard piping, fencing, grading, soil stabilization, driveway reconstruction, erosion control measures, and all other miscellaneous appurtenances necessary for a complete installation. The work must be completed in 240 consecutive calendar days in accordance with all plans and specifications and will be awarded under one contract. Bidders must provide proof of a valid State of Georgia "Utility Contractor" license and employ a "Utility Manager" certification holder for oversight. Prequalification may be required, and, upon request, detailed evidence of financial data, bonding capacity, previous experience, and current commitments must be provided. Bids must be accompanied by a bid bond or certified cashier’s check in an amount not less than 10% of the base bid, with additional performance and payment bonds required upon award. All Contractors and Subcontractors must register in the federal work authorization (E-Verify) program. The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive informalities, and re-advertise if deemed in the best interest of the project.
