Demolition and renovation of a medical facility in Renton, Washington. Completed plans call for the renovation of a medical facility; and for the demolition of a medical facility.
The project involves replacing an MRI and CT in Class 1 Imaging Rooms at the Olympic Building of Valley Medical Center. The work includes replacement of finishes, millwork, handwash sinks, acoustical panel ceiling systems, and lighting fixtures. Selective demolition of interior and exterior walls is required for removal of the existing MRI and installation of the new MRI. The project also includes HVAC, chilled water, and humidification upgrades, as well as other associated MEP work to support the new MRI and CT. The estimated construction cost is $1.1 million. Bids will be received for general trades contract (all work). Qualified bidders must submit sealed bids, provide bid security equal to 5 percent of the bid amount, and attend a mandatory pre-bid conference. Bidders must be properly licensed, able to obtain insurance and required bonds, and submit qualifications for approval. Project completion is required within 210 calendar days from the contract award. Question Deadline 05/28/2026 Written requests for clarification or interpretation of the Bidding Documents shall reach the Architect a minimum of seven (7) calendar days prior to the bid date.
