MCW Custom Energy Solutions is seeking qualified trade contractors and specialty suppliers for upcoming interior fit-up work at 5 Wing Goose Bay, NL. This work forms part of the new Central Heating Plant project at CFB Goose Bay and will be delivered through separate trade packages under the interior fit-up package. The interior fit-up scope is intended to attract individual trades and specialty contractors for architectural, mechanical, electrical, life safety, communication, and finishing work within the completed base building shell. The interior fit-up will support administrative, operational, and service spaces within the new facility, including the offices, common areas, work areas and storage rooms, washrooms, and interfaces to the boiler hall and electrical rooms where indicated. The CFB Goose Bay EPC includes requirements related to Indigenous Business Participation. MCW supports these objectives and encourages proponents to consider opportunities for meaningful Indigenous participation as part of their delivery approach. Applicable requirements and reporting expectations will be outlined in the tender documents and contract conditions. This package will be delivered through separate trade packages and includes all labour, materials, equipment, supervision, services, coordination, testing, commissioning, and incidentals required to complete the interior fit-up work. The scope includes interior architectural construction and finishes, interior partitions and drywall, interior doors and frames, millwork and casework, ceilings, flooring, painting and finishes, masonry work where indicated, mechanical and plumbing systems serving the office and support areas, sprinkler systems, electrical systems including service, distribution, lighting, devices and fire alarm, and security, CCTV, access control, and communications systems. The work also includes all related accessories, supports, sleeves, firestopping, terminations, testing, and closeout documentation. Final scopes, trade splits, package limits, and interface responsibilities will be defined in the issued tender documents. Typical inclusions: Interior steel stud, gypsum board, and framed partition systems, including drywall finishing, backing, insulation within partitions where specified, bulkheads, soffits, and ceiling related framing. Interior masonry and related support work where indicated, including coordination with structural supports and masonry interfaces shown in the drawings and structural details. Interior doors, frames, hardware, glazing, control room fit-out elements, millwork, casework, shelving, accessories, and other architectural interior construction required for complete rooms and support spaces. Interior finishes including painting, coatings, wall finishes, flooring, sealants, and other finish systems required to complete the administrative, operational, and support spaces. Plumbing systems as indicated, including domestic water piping, sanitary waste and vent piping, plumbing specialties and accessories, pumps, fixtures, floor drains, and final connections for washroom, laundry, utility, and support areas. HVAC systems serving the office and support areas, including air handling units, condensing units, ductwork, dampers, louvers, piping, insulation, controls interfaces, hangers, identification, and associated accessories as shown on the drawings and specified. Sprinkler systems including engineering, sprinkler entrance, backflow devices, piping, hangers, heads, testing, and commissioning. Electrical systems including 600V service entrance, transformers, panelboards, conductors, cabling, lighting fixtures, wiring devices, grounding, fire alarm, and associated testing and commissioning. Security, CCTV, access control, communications, and associated cabling, terminations, and device installation for a complete and operable interior system. Firestopping, penetration sealing, sleeves, coordination openings, and trade interface work required to maintain fire separations and complete all mechanical, electrical, and communications penetrations through rated assemblies. All required shop drawings, product data, coordination drawings, samples, testing records, start-up documentation, operation and maintenance information, training, and closeout documentation for the applicable trade package.
