The work includes miscellaneous repairs and surface preparation and painting of the interior and exterior of a 500,000 gallon ground storage tank. Separate sealed bids will be received by the owner for the project. Any bid received after the specified time and date will not be considered. Each Bidder must deposit with the bid, security in the amount of at least five percent (5%) of the total bid price. Bid bonds must be written by a surety or insurance company meeting the stated requirements. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and Payment Bond, each in an amount equal to 100% of the Contract amount. The OWNER reserves the right to reject any or all bids for just cause. The Instructions to Bidders, Bid Form, Agreement Between Owner and Contractor, Forms of Bid Bond, Performance and Payment Bonds, Drawings and Specifications, and other Contract Documents may be examined at the location specified. Copies of bidding documents are available upon deposit, with refund as outlined in the advertisement.
